United State “True” National Debt

About

It is official now, we are called the Carolina Patriots!

Beginnings:
Our core group were the founders of  the Myrtle Beach T.E.A. Party that put on the April 15, 2009 Chapin Park Tax Day Protest. The group was formed up under the name of T.E.A. Party to associate our efforts with the growing wave of concerned citizens making it known in towns across that nation, that we were all “Taxed Enough Already”. The cost of that first protest gathering was paid for out of pocket of the less than 10 volunteers that had come together to make a stand against the HUGE government growth and spending that had grown these last couple of decades.

After the first event was under our belts, more folks stepped forward to join our efforts. We were planning on having a larger event on July 4th, 2009 to show our pride in our nation while allowing more folks to have a voice against taxes and large government spending sprees that both Columbia and Washington were putting on the citizens of this State and our Nation. With new members on hand, we became a more formalized group under the Myrtle Beach T.E.A Party banner. We created a board, filed for a 501(c)3 tax status, opened a bank account, and gathered to form our Mission Statement and General Guidelines of our group. Then we went to work on planning the July 4th event.

During the two months leading up to the July event, it became apparent that two factions were forming amongst the volunteers and with the board. One faction was wanting to be inclusive of any and every other group of folks that were standing up against big government and the other faction wanted a more controlled group and message.

After the July 4th Tax Day Protest, we walked away from the Myrtle Beach T.E.A. Party.

The next few months saw us heading out to protest with various other T.E.A. Party groups in our State and Nation’s capital. Our bus groups grew from mostly one to two full busloads and cars in route to the next protest gathering. We decided to reform again in the later part of 2009.  In January 2010, we met and began again… by March we had formed up under our new name. We specifically chose to not have the letters “A”, “E”, and “T” in our name.  We voted to not endorse candidates and not form under a 501(c)3 or other tax structure. We just wanted to be able to actually allow everyone a voice at the table in regards to setting this nation back on the path to our Constitutional Republic.

We are vocal, we are organized, and we have buses! Watch for us in Conway, Columbia, Raleigh, and Washington DC!

    Looks great!

I am so proud to be a part of this group. I do believe that through our hard work we can make a difference and leave this place as least as good as it was when we entered it. A big thank you to all who have made this possible.

  • Jean Hampton

Great job and thanks to all who worked so hard to accomplish this. I believe this will be a very effective tool to help the cause of freedom.

  • Bill Besemer

May God shed his blessings on the mission we are about to take in restoring our constitution that our founding fathers have left us. We are blessed to have this group dedicated to achieving this goal. Special thanks to Daniel for creating this great website!

Patriotism is the zealous support of one’s own country and by joining the Carolina Patriots and lending support I pray we can stop the madness and return this great country of ours back to the people. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you have accomplished in such a short time.

Great meeting last night and a fine turn out. I was really pleased to see the candidates and hear them speak. We’ve started the ball rolling so let’s all pull together and get some results in November! For anyone who wants bio information on candidates in SC State and Federal elections go to http://www.USElections.com. Click on the tab for state/elections and then click on South Carolina on the map or list of states and a complete list of SC candidates will come up. You can then go to any of their web sites for their info.

Over the span of my life, I never felt that is was a necessity to be deeply involved in politics because we always had candidates and elected officials who honored our Constitution for the most part, and I really believed we were all born with an equal opportunity to become unequal in life. That has now changed with the Obama Administration, and the American People will not, and cannot, be silent any longer. I am proud to be part of “Taking Back America” from the socialists in office.

    Ms. Janet Spencer,
Thank you for your inquiry about the Contract with the Voters of SC. Yes, we will be delighted to share information about the Voter Contract and work with the Carolina Patriots of Myrtle Beach. We are just beginning a media push to encourage our representatives to sign the Voter Contract. Of course, most lawmakers will need encouragement to sign the Voter Contract. That is where the Tea Partys can have an important impact on removing RINOs. Every State representative must be contacted by his Tea Party constituents to ask him/her to sign the Voter Contract. And that is not all; we must present each represenvative with his /her own grade on his/her Club for Growth voting record.

I have found that the best way to empower our people by using these to tools is to meet with the groups and present this simple and effective program for real action that works. To follow up, my email address is jdonrogers@gmail.com and my cell number is 864 449 0809. Thanks, and good hunting.

    Janet:

My sincerest thanks for your willingness to promote the speaking engagement by Frank Anderson of Independence Caucus.

If you feel my attendance at the event in Myrthle Beach would be of benefit, I’ll consider making the drive to attend.

    • Janet Spencer

We would like to have you, but I don’t feel that it is necessary. I appreciate you working with our group.I have posted this event on Tea Party Patriots web site & also our site .

I just learned about the existence of the Carolina Patriots while watching the Glenn Beck rally on TV. Can anyone give me information on how to get a Carolina Patriots T-shirt like the ones worn at the rally?

why are you attending the 9/11/10 march if you went to the one last year sponsored by Freedomworks.

The freedomworks march is on Sunday, 9/12/10.

    • Janet Spencer

Our group has one bus going up for the Sept 11 rally. We had 2 buses to go to the Glenn Back on Aug 28. As long as there are events in DC and we feel the need to participate, we will go. Some of our people did not get to go last year, so this is their first trip. Many that went last year are returning this year to express their feeling & support the return to the key values of our country.

after looking over this site, I see that this group is truly concerned about the well-being of the people of our state, but despite the claim that this group endorses no candidate or party, I see that the articles have a very heavy right influence. why does no one want to talk about how the GOP has destroyed our state? or how Graham and DeMint’s vote on the Halliburton bill last year proved they will vote against the People’s rights just to play party politics and do all of this for the profit of the Corporate State? It hurts the cause to keep this kind of bias. please contact me back on this. Tea Party 2010, Libertarian 2012. No more DNP, no more GOP.
